After breaking in (lol, mostly 3/4 to full throttle for 1 tank) and extensive upgrades and modding, I finally took out my new DR to do some therapeutic bashing! Car runs great! All of the upgrades below were well worth it.

My time out was cut short due to the stupid plastic steering servo horn breaking during a jump. Needless to say, aluminum horns are on order.

List of upgrades thus far (way more on its way, damn UPS!!!!!!)

JetPro rear mount tuned pipe

DDM modified Walbro 990 carb

Team Chase carb diaphragm filter

DDM Tall billet intake

DDM 1" velocity stack

TGN triple air filter

Savox SV-1271SG throttle servo (direct fit)

Savox SV-0235MG steering servo (took a whole lot of modding and fabrication to make this servo fit! Its 66mm long! NOT A DIRECT DROP IN!!!)

Airtronics RX-461 telemetry receiver

KillerRC super bee kill switch

KillerRC 7.4V 6000mah LiPo battery

NGK spark plug

8K clutch

Outerwears flywheel, air filter and pull-start pre filters

Parts on the way

Desperado wheels with bow-tie tires

Vertigo 8mm extended baja wheel adapters (have these, but don't have the wheels yet)

Aluminum complete font and rear suspension parts (control arms, hub carriers, turn buckles, etc)

Aluminum servo saver

Aluminum front and rear diff cases

Aluminum servo horns.

RCR X-treme pull start rope

Thanks for everyones help!

Sounds just like mineWhat gearing are you running?

You'll notice a difference when you get your new wheels

Is that running the silicone tape??
Stock gearing. Haven't counted the teeth yet. But take off and top speed are not that bad. Man is that pipe loud! If I run the jetpro add on silencer, will it kill performance?

And yes, the pipe coupling is the silicone tape. Holding up perfectly.

Yep they're loud

I haven't tried the silencer but maybe someone else on here has and can tell us about it

Looks like tape is the answer then

Can you detail a bit on the "Airtronics RX-461 telemetry receiver"? What telemetry are you getting?

First time bashing with new heavily upgraded DR.

Unless I'm mistaking, isn't that useless without its matching transmitter? Telemetry-wise at least.

However, I see they have the complete set (transmitter, receiver, rpm sensor, 2 temperature sensors) for $220.
