Had my first chance at a good bash session since fitting the new tyres today - lots of WOT and the idler pulley on my belt drive melted??
Looks like the new bearing that I installed on the centre shaft seized.I'll know more when I get the plate off.
I've sent an email to see if I can get another.
At least it steers a lot better with the 60mm front tyres.
Oh man sorry to hear about the pulley!! On a good note the tires worked out!

I may have come up with a better idea than the plastic pulley.
I'll keep you informed.
It's back to gears for a while.
Luckily I had a pin set up ready to go on a spare plate.

In mm pls
Thanks in advance.
Sorry Sir!! I did not get a notification from your post. I just saw it now. I can measure that for you if you still need it

The diameter where the belt rides is 17mm. The outer diameter is 28.8mm, so I'd assume 29mm. The width with the two plastic idler pulley pieces together is 34mm. Hope it helps

Looks and sounds good.
Mine hasn't been that clean since new.
Thank You very much!!! I do try and keep it clean, but it is no shelf queen as you have seen in some of the videos. I am going to put it on the ground today to finish up the break in process. I'm dying to see what you come up with on that pulley

Here is an actual running video I did today. Still being easy on the throttle and only running it for ten minutes at a time. Don't mind the pesky 5t BTW. Once this engine is broke in he will be defeated ahahahahaha
