I'm looking to make some drive cup sleeves for my xt. I was wondering what id and od size tubing you are using and what material is working the best?

I'm using stainless steel that I found at a boat supply place. It is sold as replacement railing. It's a metric ID not sure off the top of my head but take some calipers with you and your cup.

3/4" copper pipe works, the type escapes at the moment

heres a shot of Cu 3/4 " pipe on diff cups , lasted a year so far, no fractured cups since, carbon fiber tube is good option as well.

no adhesion used, the fit is self retentive. dimple a spot past cup to shaft transition if doubtful. usually cutter leaves small lip that is ample.

I'm going to bump this thread instead of making a new one.

Anyone know if i can use the MT cups on the chimera? They are hardened and not squared off like the stock chimera cups.

I would bet those cups + copper pipe would be a solid upgrade
