Best Rampage Platfrom?

If i was gonna get a Rampage and use Baja rims and tires and a Pro-line Desert Rat body.

Either one, you will need to get steel gears anyway.

Either will work. you will need to purchase a front bodymount if you go with the TT.


You will also need two sets of rear hubs from a 5b or 5t to run the hpi rims.

You know the plastic gears are something I have not had an issue with yet. I have a metal set but will wait until the plastics wear out to install them. I have around 2 gallons of fuel through my rig and the gears are in great shape.

Id get the MT V2, because of the dual servo mount. Im pretty sure the V2 TT doesn't have that right, and if it does, get the TT

I like using the plastic gears because they are cheap and was able to buy several


different sizes. Let's me change them out depending on terrain. Metal gears are too


pricey for me to do that. Besides, have not stripped my plastics yet except for one


that got a rock stuck in between the teeth...
