chassis

Was looking to see if the dual serveo kit was avail for seperate purchase yet! ;)

I just got my alum chassis brace in and the dam thing is too long. I got it screwed in the chassis but the bolt hole for the steering plate does not line up. It extends past the steering plate hole slightly. The center of the brace's hole is right at the edge of the hole in the steering...

so i bent the chassis in the front and rear today. wondering if i should bend it back, or replace it. i would like to replace it as its only 2 months old, but my 'list" is growing.. im afraid it will just bend again in the same spot..

does anyone know if the ano on the chassis is a hard coat type or is it just for color? i am considering polishing every piece of aluminum on my car (arms,uppers,steering,gear tower,suspension braces,towers,etc) and was wanting to know what if any structurale integrity the chassis coating has.

got to tinkering whilst waiting for the wife to come back from shopping and sew my limiting straps, made a couple of rear chassis braces...back ends solid now it was a pain filing the knubby bit by hand...oh for a small lathe...and uni mill will probably have to redo the clutch...

I thought Redcat had an aluminum front chassis brace as an option part. Is it ever going to be available? If not I'll have to make one myself.

The 2 lower pull start bolts are partially blocked by where the chassis flares up on the side. This does not allow one to chuck a hex wrench in a drill to remove the pull start. Do you think it would effect chassis strength if one were to cut out a small piece of the chassis to allow access to...

MoFroggy and I were doing a little R&D work yesterday and we come up with a solution to try for a brace to help with the chassis flex. I plan on producing the prototype this morning and getting a jig ready for production. Look for pics coming soon.

What up guys, I am trying to figure out if the buggy and mt are the same size, frame, suspension, etc. To me it looks like the mt just has monster truck tires?? Let me know. :D Cheers. Todd
