Ordered a 7075rc servo saver and servo mount. Don't really need the servo mount but just in the case I ever go to a hitech 5755/65 I've got it.

I have some redcat anodized parts i think I may strip to match the other raw aluminum parts. Once I get it together ill pull it apart and do a clear coat on all the parts and swap in my stainless screws. It's not much of a redcat now. Have enough parts to prob build the stock one again.

Yeah isn't that funny!

Looking good!

Wish 7075rc would do a dual servo arm setup.

If he wasn't that busy I wouldn't think it would be hard...all he has to do is reverse the x-axis on his cad file. that way you get a mirror of both sides. wouldn't hurt to ask I guess.

He also has lay-shaft mounts in stock. ordered one of those too. I pretty much have any part he makes for the XT. Few things to keep in mind is the screw holes for the sway-bar mounts are only drilled about the 3/4 the length of the screw. To fix that I put a could washers on the screws to get them to hold the sway bar brackets snug. You will also not be able to mount your front bumper as it is originally secured between the front dif and the chassis.

I should be able to have it all back together by this weekend. I still need to order a new receiver and transmitter. Debating between 4PLS or 4PV with a R304SB.

Please advise if you have any problems with the DGI turnbuckles not clearing the aluminum 7075rc dif. covers. I read somewhere that they will not clear. I was told the DGI turnbuckle end that mounts to the steering saver will not clear the edge of the 7075rc dif. cover.
I would also like to know what steering servo you are using. I have the 7075rc servo saver upgrade on my gas XB and love it. I tried to use several 1/5 scale servo's with negative results. The only way I was able to get it to work was to use the 7075 servo mount and a Hitech 5765 servo.

I forgot to mention that...it does hit very slightly. I will be taking a lil material off the heim joint with desk grinder. Not sure it matters as it looks like its prett close to full lock. Keep in mind I'm also using a 7075rc chassis so my clearance might be different then a stock chassis. I know when I added the top brace it pushed out the differential 1/16th of a inch from the tie bar which was rubbing on the diff with out it.

Ill add a pic when I get to my PC.

I think they are 180x70 king motors for a losi 5. the outside bead locks i have to order separately as i wanted the aluminum look which at the time wasn't available. I did have to drill out the center hub a hair larger for the larger diameter hub. Been so long I do not remember where I got them from. I am thinking either large scale rc or daves. the bead lock i think from ebay.

I just did a search on amazon and found the same ones here:
https://www.amazon.com/King-Motor-W...Wheels&qid=1568371938&s=toys-and-games&sr=1-2

beadlock: https://www.amazon.com/Motor-Alumin...adlock&qid=1568372048&s=toys-and-games&sr=1-3

I see they have the inner now. I might order it. since im OCD about things.

Well its been a while. All good intentions...but I never got any further then the last posting. Work had me traveling every month. Well as everyone knows things have changed in the world. So I'm sequestered to the house for the unforeseeable future.

Might as well drag the parts out and do something constructive. I will continue this thread and add to it in completing this never ending project.

Hope everyone is safe.

Did you just grind down the eyelet holes on your dgi steering arms because I’m having the same problem with them hitting my 7075rc front diff,I mean I could lock out how far it turns because it’s pretty close to full turn, but I would like to have it completely turn.I tried to order smaller eyelets from dgi, they looked smaller in the pic but nobody ever answers thier phone there, and when they came they looked a little different than the original ones but they were exactly the same size lol anyway any advice is really appreciated Thank you and hope you finish your build!
