NGK CR8HIX Iridium Plug

So i was told this is the best plug for CY/HY/Zenoah/OBR engines!!! is this true?? Any thought? anyone running this plug? will this fit in stock motors??

It will fit don't know if it would really be that much better. Guess it Depends on how much they cost.

They're EXPENSIVE!!! Lol I believe I saw them as low as $8.50...I wanna try it just to try it, if it work well then I guess I foundy new plug, but if it's the same going back to my old NGK plugs!! I hear iridium plugs has a better burn but I don't know I'll try them.

this type of plug is used mostly in full size trucks-cars. why? cause the fine tip does not erode as fast as the other exotic metal tips. spark likes a sharp 90 degree edge. iridium is not a natural earth element, no, it does not come from area 51 or 54 either-lol. it is extracted from meteroites that hit the earth long ago. this type of plug will out last the r-c engines we use- if you do not run rich and foul the tiny electriode. the 8 heat range will give you a safty margin if you are running wot in the dunes-hot weather-ect- as for myself- i do have a bunch of these, most of the time- i just run the standard cheaper plugs with no loss of engine output. american plugs- the higher the number- the hotter the plug. ngk- ect- the higher the number, the colder the plug. just saying---

I will agree with Alfred. You won't see a performance gain. I use the cheapies.

Bought one earlier......and no performance gains I kinda knew that..lol but one thing I did though is I pointed the electrode towards the exhaust! Kinda like what engineers do in NHRA lol

Iridium plugs would probably be better for a higher voltage ignition system than what we have. IMO.

Well I just got done talking to my neighbor about this plug...he said that he uses this plug for his snow blowers for his landscaping company, because it's a hotter plug for the winter! Since we up here in Chicago have cold winters, the engine needs to be rich to run better in the cold!! So therefore this plug will run better in the winter and not so well in the summer!!

Actually it's a colder plug. For NGK, the lower the number, the hotter the plug and vice versa. So the CMR7H is hotter than the CR8HIX.
