Here is an actual running video I did today. Still being easy on the throttle and only running it for ten minutes at a time. Don't mind the pesky 5t BTW. Once this engine is broke in he will be defeated ahahahahaha

She's quick alright and those shocks seem to be working well.

Thank You very much!!! I do try and keep it clean, but it is no shelf queen as you have seen in some of the videos. I am going to put it on the ground today to finish up the break in process. I'm dying to see what you come up with on that pulley

I live at the beach where the air is pretty salty so I justify not cleaning it by saying a little bit of oil here and there is stopping corrosion ;)

Thanks Sir!! I think the $89 bucks was well spent. I'm wondering your opinion on carbs though. I know you don't like the 990, but my MT runs better with the 990 than the DR with 1107. I'm real close to getting either a 990 or 813 for the DR. Thoughts on the 813? I realize the similarities to the 990 but has accelerator pump. Would the 813 be better with the new ESP head I put on you think? Thanks!!

I don't have any experience of the 813 but from what I've read the exciter pump makes em hard to tune.
I thought the 1107 was THE carb for the G320?
The 990 is just a 668 with no choke.Maybe a tad small for your motor.
I found the 990 OK if you carry a can of starter fluid with you but I can't say the performance was any better that the 668.
The 668 is perfect on my G290 though.

Living at the beach is great but unfortunately up here we have the reef stopping the waves so no surfing.
Here's a vid of my backyard taken with the drone.
It was my first ever flight so the landing is a bit off.
It was high tide so not much beach.

The fact that you're running the same gearing on both should mean that the smaller wheels on the DR will give it better take off but less top end and the opposite on the MT?

Agreed, but the tire size difference isn't that much anymore. Those rovans on the DR are 195 mm tall. Guess that's what the difference is.

You are correct. The carb in the stock g320 is 1107, but is it really as good as a 990 for performance? I will find out. That engine should be ready to open it up finally. I will try to tune it a little better. Trying to keep it rich for a few tanks

Just out of interest how big are the MT tyres?
The Proline Badlands MX43 that I have on there are 210 mm tall. So the 15 mm height difference is the final drive ratio difference right. Also the DR is longer with more shafts losing power there too I'd imagine

That would make your circumference about 45mm difference or about 2" per revolution making your MT about 1.2:1 gearing in comparison to your DR at 1:1.
Not a big difference

Man you are good with your numbers, and quick! Guess that isn't much of a difference to see top end speed difference?

All things equal you SHOULD see about 20% difference in top end.
Just for laughs swap the tyres over and see what the difference is.

Will do!! I have yet to do that. Not sure why I haven't. It never really struck me to do it while out bashing, too much adrenaline flowing. You know how that goes. I am in the middle of putting that same ESP race ported head on the MT now, so they will be equal again for a true test

Sounds like you'll have two beasts in your garage.
I wish they still made the TT.
I like the idea of centre mounted engine for weight distribution.
Would probably help with steering too.

Got a chance to take the DR out today and open it up a bit to see how the new head kit performs. I need to work on the low end a bit, but the mid range to top end is amazing. Plenty of power for the application! Check out this video my Girl shot for me.
