What's going on everyone. Having fun just bashing and, again, I hit a curb. Only this time i hit at probably 3/4 throttle on the right front. I thought that I just broke the wheel at first but upon examination I discovered that the steering is stuck to the right. The servo still works but the steering is stuck. My questions are has anyone done this and what did you have to replace? Also, I just want to upgrade the entire front steering assembly so is there a complete kit, other than stock, that is stronger but also complete? I want to get this thing running again as it is a blast! Please help. Or if you have any other recommendations on what you guys think I should replace I would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

There are no complete kits.

It is pretty much impossible not to break something with that kind of impact. If you go to all aluminum it will bend instead of break, so you would still have to replace the parts. It is better to have some plastic, as it will absorb some of the impact. There are some nice aftermarket links from IRP & DGI that are almost indestructible.

Thank you RCDAD. Do you have a link to any of these items? I honestly have not had time since I took it out to address what exactly is broken. 2 jobs is brutal, haha. Thank you again.

RCDAD, I am on the DGI racing website and looking at the redcat items. I know the XB and XT are the same platforms so even though it says upper arm heavy duty for XB, it will fit the xt right?

Yes sir. All the X series share all their suspension parts.

Dgi only had the upper arms and steering links but I think he was just saying that the two platforms share the same upper and lower arms. I thought about getting the front camber links but I didn't like how they mounted to the inner plastic part the stock camber pin goes into, at least thats what it looked like from the pics. If that's true then I think the stock camber link should be just as strong. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though I don't mind:)

So I was on on RC Pitstop and saw almost all the parts I need. From what I inspected, it needs the stabilizer bar with all the pieces that come with it including the connector to the lower part, which isn't on RC Pitstop, and both sets of steering mounts because it uses 2 different sets. It also needs all of the "piman arms". I say pitman arm because I don't know the name for them in the rc world. Please help me out, guys. If anyone has spare parts I mentioned I would be willing to pay. I posted in the "wanted" section, too. Or if anyone has a spare parts vehicle I could do that too. Thank you in advance.

Hey RCDAD. I need mainly the parts I mentioned. I only took a quick look but the right steering mount is bent as is the stabilizer bar. The "pitman arm" connector is touching the stabilizer bar. I may need a new right front axle shaft as well, although it still turns when the other wheels do.
