Alright, I did some more testing this weekend. CHanged the gears to 33/27 and seemed to be better for my taste. I also did a pre-run checklist to look for naything strange.

1) We got rid of all those pesky e-clips. Everything is either fully captured or has a lock nut on it.

2) Only a few non-essential screws go into plastic. Most go through and have a locknut.

3) Somone figured out the tire compound on the buggies. I have a few tanks through mine in really tough dirt, and they haven't worn out yet.

4) The engine is coming to full power now and its a pleasure to run, even with the stock 5T can.

5) I haven't tested any pipes yet. The rear pipes won't fit, and the side pipes will virtually eliminate the body. Flowsystem Racing will make pipe stuff for us when they are released though.

6) We will need a few minor Loctite changes to the production units, and add 4 more locknuts for safety.

Other than that, this proto seems to be holding up extremely well.

That's excellent news! I've got a few things I'm eager to see if they will work.

Sweet deal, glad to hear Flowsystem will be doing a pipe for it!!

Eric used to be a good friend of mine back in the goped days. He is about as sharp as it gets when it comes to these little motors.

He lives a few miles away, and certainly knows his stuff. He built a motor and pipe fo rmy 5T and I am just amazed. My son drove it for the first time at Shreadhead's Bajacross and came in second for the B main.

Yeah he used to live literally a mile away from me on Lindsay and Guadalupe.

I'll have to stop by and see how he's doing. I honestly didn't know he was still in the industry.

Really good guy, he knows these motors inside and out.
